Wilma Louise Carle was born May 20, 1952, in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Gerald Wendell and Virginia Louise (Wilson) Carle. She married the love of her life, Michael Williamson, on August 7, 1986, in Rock Island. The couple would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary the day after her passing.
Throughout her life, Wilma worked as a hairstylist, bartender, flower delivery driver for Bonnet's in Milan, and sales associate at Peterson Von Maur. Her greatest joy, however, was caring for her family. She was known for her outstanding cooking and baking, especially her beloved Christmas cookies, which became a treasured family tradition.
Wilma enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, cookouts, and family gatherings. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren and looked forward to every holiday and family celebration.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Michael Williamson; two children, Timothy (Michelle) Noel, and Tina (Nathan Fletcher) Barker, both of Rock Island; six step-children, Michael, David, Matthew, and Crystal Williamson, Stacey Beck, and Dana Beeney, and their families; her “bonus daughter”, Jen “Doodle” (Bob) Graff, and her daughter, Viv; grandchildren, Christina (Devon) Maynard, Zachariah (Baylee) Noel, Cody Barker, Casey (Kiley) Barker, Chastin Barker, Crystall Rhynes, Christopher Barker, and Dakota (Bree) Neaveill; great-grandchildren, Aiyden, Gabriel, Dallas, Michael, Macy, Isabella, Jayden, Aliah, and Haven; her sister, Brenda (Doug) Rottman of Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Louis Logan, Audrey “Elaine” St. Clair, and George “Bud” Carle.
