We love you and we’re going to miss you!

Warren G. Harrell, 81, of Moline, Illinois, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Silvis Center, Silvis, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Private burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery.

Warren George Harrell was born April 25, 1945, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of George and Beatrice (Reese) Harrell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later married Bernice Parks, and they were blessed with two children before eventually separating.

Warren loved listening to music, keeping up with the news, and his dogs, Cowboy, Isis, and Gotti. He enjoyed a good barbecue and time spent with family and friends. He was known for his stories and could always be counted on to have one to share.

Warren is survived by two children, Troy (Jessica) Harrell of Coal Valley, Illinois, and Danielle Williams-Harrell of Inglewood, California; eight grandchildren, Raven, Heaven, and Amani Harrell, Mario, Eti and Nolee Mendoza, Jazmine Williams, and Andrew Branchcomb; four great-grandchildren, Azaela Boyd, Nova Boyd, Jhene Watson, and Aryanna Branchcomb; special niece, Gaylene Harrell, and her sons, Courtney and Dante; special nephew, Corey (Tanasha) Harrell, and his grandson, Caine; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Charles Harrell, Rosetta Jenkins, and Stanley Harrell; his son-in-law, Jonathan Williams; special sister-in-law, Ruthie Morgan; great-nephew, Corey Harrell, Jr; and his dogs, Cowboy, Isis, and Gotti.

The Harrell family would like to thank everyone at Beacon of Hope Hospice, Silvis Center, and Dr. Reed Johnson at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for the wonderful care given to Warren.
