Warren Denby

Warren P. Denby, 74, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, April 18, 2024, at home.

Private services will be held. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Warren Patrick Denby was born June 3, 1949, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of George and Pauline (Yaklich) Denby.

He worked as a dealer at the Isle of Capri Casino for over 15 years, and volunteered at the food bank. He enjoyed reading, playing Monopoly, gambling at the casino, cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and spending time with his family and friends.

Warren is survived by the love of his life and partner for over 20 years, Debbie Schumacher; his step-children, Brooke (Britney) Schumacher, Jay Davis, and Audreeana Schumacher; brothers, Tim (Florence) Denby and Phillip Denby; and many close friends, including Vic Bally, Jim Flannery, Ed Langford, and Marquist, Malia and M.J. Paige. He was preceded in death by his parents and Debbie's son, Eric Cary.
