Vasilike Logothetis, 90, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Monday, January 8, 2024, at Genesis Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Smile Train, or Mercy Ships.

The former Vasilike Nicolas Carson was born August 6, 1933, in New Haven Connecticut, the daughter of Nicolas and Catherine (Sotiropoulos) Carson. She married the love of her life Lambro Logothetis and he later passed away in February of 2013.

Vasilike was a member of Darien Arts Counsel, Saratoga Newcomers, and Alliance Francaise. She enjoyed many things such as painting, reading, drawing, gardening, needlepoint, and traveling. She had a deep love for animals, especially horses and dogs, and above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Logothetis, and Caroline (John) Glennon; and her grandchildren, Alexandra Glennon, and Thomas Glennon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lambro; and a sister, Phillis.
