Tina Marie Barnes, 62, of New Windsor, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at home.

Services to celebrate Tina’s life will be announced in the near future. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

Tina Marie Faust was born September 4, 1963, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Mary Lou (DelVichio) Faust. She married the love of her life, Terry Barnes, on May 30, 1981, at Calvary Lutheran Church, New Windsor.

Tina Marie was happiest when she was surrounded by people. She spent several years tending bar at Thurman Williams Pub in New Windsor, where she made countless friends and always had a listening ear. More recently, she worked at Casey’s in Viola. She loved hearing the latest gossip around town—and, more often than not, could be trusted to keep those stories to herself.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures: rolling Yahtzee! dice with family and friends, relaxing outside with her dog, Sabi, chatting on the phone, and going to the Spoon River Valley Scenic Drive. Above all, Tina Marie treasured every moment spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.

Tina Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Terry; two children, Tonya Antoine of Galesburg, Illinois, and Terry Barnes of Hampton, Illinois; five grandchildren, Rhys and Phoebe Antoine, Chloe and Garrett Barnes, and Kiera Fields-Helm; siblings, Carl (Kay) Faust, Victoria McKinnon, Rhonda (Blaine) Regan, Brian (Mindy) Palmer, and Brad (Harmony) Palmer; and her dog, Sabi. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Faust.
