Tiffany L. Chapman

Sadly, Tiffany L. Chapman left us on Thursday, January 15, 2026, to be with her Lord, her decades of pain and suffering mercifully ended, at age 48.

Services to celebrate Tiffany’s life will be held on Saturday, February 7, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Tiffany’s wishes were for everyone to dress casually with no black. Visitation is 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. The family will greet friends at a funeral luncheon following services at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe. Memorials may be made to the Tiffany Chapman Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Moline Regional Community Foundation.

She joined parents, Jon and Pamela (Morris) Chapman, on June 1, 1977, joining sister and brother, Tanya and Paul.

She helped many and achieved much in her 48 years. Her lifelong love was gymnastics. She was a 23-time State Champion, including 5-time Illinois High School Champion, earning as many state championships as any Rock Island High School athlete. She reached gymnastics highest skill level, Elite, at age 11 and began competing nationally. She was ranked 19th in the nation, competing against kids as much as three years older.

As an adult, her helping nature led her to hands-on nursing, where she was a multi-time Daisy Award nominee and recipient (Daisy is a patient-nominated nursing excellence program, international in scope).

Along the way, the confluence of three incurable diseases caused her health to slowly, inexorably erode, yet she kept helping others to near the end.

Among those left to cherish Tiffany’s memory are her parents, Pam and Jon Chapman; her siblings, Tanya (Mark) Hopson and Paul (Anne) Chapman; and nieces and a nephew, Hannah and Holly, and Isabel and Bubba.
