Thomas Sparrow

Thomas "Tom" Sparrow, 86, of Moline, Illinois, passed away on the afternoon of April 26th, 2025, surrounded by his family in his home. He was a beloved father and husband who loved Jesus and spreading the gospel to everyone he met.

Tom lived a remarkable life filled with adventures including riding his motorcycle through all of North America. His warmth and humor drew everyone in, and he was able to befriend anyone he met.

In March of 1974 he met his wife Joyce and they were happily married for 49 years. They have one daughter Christy, whom he shared a love of animals, art and photography with. He worked at John Deere for 53 years, retiring in 2015 as one of the longest employees at the company.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mable and Floyd, and is survived by his wife Joyce and daughter Christy.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
