Steven M. Gruetzmacher

Steven M. Gruetzmacher, 58, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, March 17, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City. 

A gathering to celebrate Steve's life will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, Illinois.   Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.   Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Steve's memory.

Steven Michael Gruetzmacher was born January 28, 1966, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Virgil and Doris (Jackson) Gruetzmacher. He was known for his dedication to his work as a machinist at Sivyer Steel.

He is survived by his loving son, Justin Gruetzmacher of Davenport; two granddaughters, Ryleigh and Mia; sisters, Judy Carroll, Marcia Schricker, and Laura Embree; and brothers, Paul and Jeff Gruetzmacher.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sandra Musal.
