Steve A. Papish, 71, of Moline, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at home, with his wife and daughters by his side.
All services will be private. In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be used to help keep Steve’s garden flourishing.
Steve was born June 6, 1954, in Moline. He married Michelle DeJaegher on June 23, 1978, and retired from John Deere as an electrician.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and playing euchre, cribbage, and dice. He especially treasured time spent with his wife relaxing on their three-seasons porch looking out on their garden. Steve found great joy in being with his daughters and his grandson, Graham.
Steve is survived by his wife, Michelle; two daughters, Allison (Jay Kompella) Papish, and Kayla (Lauren) Lybbert; his grandson, Graham; and brother, Vincent Papish.
