S. Patrick Davis, 64, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, in Manor Care Health Services, Davenport, Iowa.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Rock Island National Cemetery on Arsenal Island. Those attending should meet at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, by 9:45 a.m. Tuesday to proceed to the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Trinity Visiting Nurse and Homemakers Association, or National Public Radio.
Stephen Patrick Davis was born April 10, 1942, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Charles H. and Louise (McColm) Davis. He graduated from Iowa State University, and served in the U. S. Amy from 1967 to 1969. He married Sharie Lee King on January 8, 1972, in Moline. He was product quality investigator for International Harvester from 1973 until retiring on disability in 1982. He previously worked for John Deere for four years.
Pat was a member of Manufacturing Engineers, and enjoyed antique clocks and listing to Public Radio and books on tape through the Talking Book program
Pat is survived by his wife, Sharie; a son, Dr. Jason E. Davis and his fiancée Deanna Condon of Lady Lake, Florida; his brother, Orin Davis of Anamosa, Iowa; and his mother-in-law, Alberta King of Moline.
