Stephen P. Winne

Stephen P. Winne, 75, retired Moline Firefighter, of Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Moline, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at his home with family surrounding him.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.

Steve graduated from Moline High School and attended Fire Science classes at Blackhawk College. He served in the U S Navy 1968-1972. He requested cremation. He was born February 21, 1947 to Harry and Grace (Schell). He married Karen Hoglund on October 1, 1976 at Sacred Heart Church.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing with his granddaughters. He was sincerely loved by his family.

Survivors include his wife Karen, Michael (Erica) and Kristin, Palm Coast, FL and two lovely granddaughters.
