Stephen F. Turner, 66, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, in his home.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Stephen Frederick Turner was born October 16, 1946, in Moline, to Ralph and Geraldine Peterson Turner. He graduated from Rock Island High School and Simpson College, Des Moines, Iowa. He married Norma Phillips Gustafson on November 23, 1974, in Rock Island. He owned and operated Commercial and Carpet Cleaning Services in Moline for several years. He enjoyed bowling and raising fresh water fish.

Steve is survived by his wife, Norma; a daughter, Dawn Gustafson of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, Mike Turner and his wife Beth Donahue-Turner of Garner, North Carolina; two grandsons, Peter and Joseph; his mother, Geraldine Turner of Coal Valley, Illinois; a sister, Charlotte Sissel of Davenport, Iowa, and a brother, Jim Turner of Coal Valley. He was preceded in death by a son, Sean Gustafson.
