Sonya S. Randolph

Sonya S. Randolph, 60, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Sonya Stewart Kirkby was born February 3, 1965, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of William and Patricia (Palmer) Kirkby.

She absolutely loved being outdoors, especially fishing. Nothing brought her more joy then spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she had a special bond with her grandson, D.J.

Sonya will be remembered as a woman who was always helping those around her in need. She leaves behind many beloved friends and family members including her children, Anthony, Jonathon, Joseph, Regina, Angel, and Thomas; and sister, Tammy Mello. She was preceded in death by her parents.
