Silvia C. Radilla

Silvia Cadena Radilla, 69, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Mercy One Genesis Davenport Medical Center. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Silvia was born on October 9, 1956 in Atoyac de Alvarez, Guerrero, Mexico to Leopoldo and Eva (Solis) Cadena.

She was united in marriage to José Radilla in March of 1984. Subsequently, the couple made their life together in the Quad Cities, residing in Davenport.

Silvia was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, friend, and last but not least, an excellent cook. A lifelong gourmet and coffee enthusiast, she ultimately shared this love of great food and cooking with her family and friends. Silvia was beloved by her family but also made life brighter, more fun, and beautiful for those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Silvia is survived by her children, Guillermo Quiñones (Cody Aguillard), Cecilia Radilla (Mitchell Stephenson), Frances Hippen (Cole Hippen); granddaughter, Olivia; siblings, Francisco Cadena, Leticia Cadena, Manuel Cadena, and Javier Cadena.

Silvia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant brother, and older sister, Marilú Cadena.
