Sherrie S. Hesford

Sherrie S. Hesford, 59, of Walcott, Iowa, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at home.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, Illinois.

The former Sherrie Sue Grace was born April 29, 1963, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of William E. Sr. and Donna Mae (Honts) Grace. She married Steven Hesford and the couple had a son, Ben, before separating.

She enjoyed shopping, sight-seeing, and connecting with friends on social media. She also was an avid animal-lover and loved spending time with her family.

Sherrie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Kayla Hesford of Tempe, Arizona; two brothers and a sister-in-law, William E. and Dawn Grace of Reynolds, Illinois, and Joe Grace of Muscatine, Iowa; a niece, Tiffany (Anthony) Gonzales of Reynolds; a nephew, William Grace of Reynolds; and a great-niece, Katie Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her parents.
