Sherri L. Hart

Sherri L. Hart, 64, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport, after a courageous battle with cancer.

A gathering to celebrate Sherri’s life will be Noon to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, at the Lulac Club, 4224 Ricker Hill Rd, Davenport. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

Sherri was born October 26, 1961, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Larry Lee Sr. and Lillie “Adina” (Meyers) Hart. She brought warmth and a whole lot of heart to everyone lucky enough to know her.

Sherri’s greatest joy was being a mom and grandma. Her children filled her heart with love and laughter, and her grandchildren brought her endless hapiness.

Sherri live life by compassion, generosity and unwavering love for animals. Her dogs brough her great comfort and joy, especially her spunky pug, Boomer. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her through memories they shared.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Codi (Tim) Hayes, Brittany Hart, Jarrin Hart, and Jaden Shee-Hart, all of Davenport; her four loving grandchildren, Halie, Josiah, Zoey and Sofia; her father, Larry (Linda) Hart, Sr.; siblings, Annette Reyes Davis, Larry (Lori) Hart, Jr., Cindy Rellias, Richie (Jen) Hart, Tiffany Hart, and Brandi (Adam) Paschal; her step-brother, Danny Hurtado; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Lillie and Jose Hurtado; sister, Tina Nelson; step-brother, James Hurtado; niece, Lillie Nelson; and nephew, Isaiah Nelson.
