Sheri Dowell

Sheri L. (Watters) Dowell, 63, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Friday, September 15, 2023, at Aledo Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Aledo, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. 

The former Sheri Lynn Watters was born February 24, 1960, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Sandra (Stuhldryer) Watters.  She graduated from Moline High School and will be remembered for her love of animals.

Sheri is survived by two sons, Michael and Jared; two brothers, David (Debbie) Watters and Michael Watters; and nephews and a niece, Brett Watters, Stephen Ortiz, and Ashlee Waldbusser.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rhonda Kay Ortiz.
