Sharon K. Mirocha

November 4, 1942 — January 23, 2023

Sharon K. Mirocha, 80, of East Moline, Illinois, formerly of Dell City, Texas, died Monday, January 23, 2023, at Allure of Moline, East Moline.

Visitation is 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

The former Sharon Kay Reno was born November 4, 1942, in Kewanee, Illinois, to Francis and Hazel (Gerard) Reno. She married Rene Mirocha. He died in 1983. She then joined in a civil union with Ron Dedecker, who also preceded her in death.

Sharon owned and operated Mirocha Motors and Freight for nearly 20 years. She loved to volunteer at Guadalupe Mountains National Park where she accumulated over 2,000 hours of volunteer work. She absolutely enjoyed nature, but above all else, she loved her dogs. She was assured that she would get to see them again on the other side.

Sharon is survived by a sister, Diane (John) Draminski; her children, Cary Mirocha of Hawaii, and Dave (Sarah Hayden) Mirocha of Bettendorf, Iowa; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Skyler, Evan, and Madeline; and a great-granddaughter, Monet. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Rene Mirocha and Ron Dedecker.
