Sharan A. Norin

Sharan A. Norin, 83, of Silvis, Illinois, died Friday, January 26, 2024, at Bickford of Moline.

There will be no services at this time.  Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.  Private burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

The former Sharan Ann Neyrinck was born January 21, 1941, in Moline, the daughter of Andre and Mable Irene (Schurvinski) Neyrinck.  She graduated from Riverdale High School and went on to marry Robert “Bob” Norin on July 4, 1959, in Rapids City, Illinois.  The couple spent 22 years in Apache Junction, Arizona.

She worked for Sears and Ametek before retiring from John Deere Parts Distribution Center.  She enjoyed sewing, paper tole, and playing Bingo.  

Sharan is survived by two sons, Darrin (Chellee) Norin of Moline, and Monty (Janet) Norin of Hampton, Illinois; grandchildren, Nicole (Dan) Thurman, Shelby (Nate) Welch, Morgan Norin, and Kyle (Liz) Norin; great-grandchildren, Carson, Alice, Renae, Riley, Myles, Scarlett, and Oliver; and a brother, Richard Neyrinck of Port Byron, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; and a brother, Lawrence Neyrinck.
