Scott N. Snyder

Scott N. Snyder, 57, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Harmony on Locust, Davenport.

A gathering to celebrate Scott’s life is 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at Leisure Time Billiards, 845 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, Illinois.  Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Scott Nicholas Snyder was born December 23, 1965, in Moline, the son of Roger and Luise (Michaels) Snyder.

Scott enjoyed stock car racing, motorcycles, running and working out.  He also was a talented and well-known roller-skater in his younger days, known by many as “Crazy Legs”.  Above all else, though, family was the most important thing to Scott, especially his beloved son, Ian.  The day before Scott passed away, he and Ian spent time joy-riding in a Tesla together, and Ian will forever cherish that memory with his Dad.

Scott is survived by his son, Ian Snyder of Davenport, his mother, Luise McKinney; his father, Roger Snyder; siblings, Dawn Talboom, Julie Briggs and Susan McSparin; nieces and nephews, Amanda Vivar, Kody Talboom, Jacob Stone, Brandon Snyder, Nathan McSparin, Jordan McSparin, and Megan McSparin; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his closest friend, Marcus Ballard.  He was preceded in death by his step-father, Randall McKinney.
