Sandra Lynn Conley was born October 17, 1946, in Sterling, Illinois, the daughter of Edward O. and Edna (Olsen) Conley. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Rock Island Arsenal for many years before retiring around 2008.
She was a longtime member of New Life Fellowship in Moline, where she helped with funeral luncheons and other events with the "Busy Bees”.
Sandi was an avid hockey fan, cheering on the Quad City Mallards and more recently the Quad City Storm, as well as the Chicago Blackhawks. She was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and Marty Raybon and the band, “Shenandoah”, going to many concerts over the years. When she wasn’t watching Hallmark movies, nothing brought Sandi more joy than spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sandi is survived by her loving daughter, Tracey DeVolder of Moline; four grandchildren, Ashlee Fuller, Brandi Fuller, Joe (Terrah) DeVolder, and Jacob (Kierra) DeVolder; six great-grandchildren, Madison and Mackienzie Fuller, Aaron Mayes, Levi DeVolder, Jordan Ortega, and James DeVolder; and many good friends, including lifelong friends Nan Toohey, Brenda Davis, and Julie Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family invites friends to share stories and condolences at TrimbleFuneralHomes.com.
