Russell "Bud" Spears

Russell Ray “Bud” Spears, age 69, of Davenport, passed away suddenly on November 4, 2025 in his home. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Bud was born on December 22, 1955, in Centerville, IA, to Russell and Beulah (Prater) Daniels. He was a truck driver for several years, most recently retiring as a bus driver for the Davenport School System. Bud enjoyed camping, fishing, and the outdoors.

Russell is survived by a daughter, Jamie Spears; grandchildren, Levi Scanlan, and Tessa Scanlan; siblings, Rick (Terri) Calhoun, Connie Wilkins, Deborah (Clu) Glenn, Donna (Don) Louck, and Tina (Salvador) Sandoval.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents.
