Ronald S. Bergstrand

Ronald S. Bergstrand, 66, of East Moline, Illinois, died Friday, February 26, 2021, in his home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. There will be no services at this time. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Ronald Scott Bergstrand was born March 23, 1954, in Moline, Illinois, to Vernon and Evelyn (Clarke) Bergstrand. He received an associate’s degree from Trinity College, and married Marcia Kramer on October 7, 1978, in Harrisonville, Missouri. He was a self-employed maintenance worker. He loved golf and tennis, and was a tinkerer who could fix anything.

Ron is survived by his wife, Marcia; three children, Stephanie Bergstrand, Scott Bergstrand, and Amie Bergstrand all of East Moline; and three brothers and their wives, Tom and Julie Bergstrand of Leominster, Massachusetts, Dick and Dee Bergstrand of Columbia, Missouri, and Jack and Cynthia Bergstrand of Atlanta, Georgia.
