Rodney C. Yetter, 70, of Davenport, Iowa, passed on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
Rodney Curtis Yetter was born on Setpember 17, 1955, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Henry and Vera (Sprouse) Yetter. He graduated from Muscatine High School in 1974.
He was a man of many talents and dedicated his time to GPC in Muscatine and landscaping for a short period. He was a member of the Unitarian Church of Davenport. He enjoyed taking his Harley out for rides and walking with his dogs. He also had a passion for history and would have been the perfect candidate for Jeopardy. He performed in civil war reenactments and was an extra in movies.
Rodney is survived by his significant other of 17 years, Jeannie Terry of Davvenport, Iowa; step-daughter, Jasmine (TJ Moats) Kulp of Monticello, Iowa; step-granddaughter, Natalie Gilday; sisters, Delpha Preston and Linda (Richard) Orr; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Yetter and Vera Yetter Loga; and a brother, Charles Yetter.
