Richard P. Barber

Richard P. "Rick" Barber, 61, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away peacefully March 12, 2016, in Riverwood Rehab, East Moline, Illinois.

There will be no services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Richard Paul Barber was born September 17, 1954, in Rock Island, the son of Paul and Mardelle (Monte) Barber. He graduated from Rock Island High School and was employed at John Deere.

Rick is survived by two uncles, Don Monte of Sacramento, California, and Gene Monte of Surprise, Arizona, and a nephew, Matt Barber of Pekin, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mardelle Barber; father, Paul Barber; grandparents, Elwyn and Leona Monte; and a brother, Mark Barber.
