Rebecca J. “Becky” Lancial, 80, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, August 18, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

Private burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Rebecca Jean Gripp was born June 10, 1945, in Davenport, the daughter of Lee and Bonnie (Bendt) Gripp. She graduated from Augustana College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1987 and enjoyed a career in the accounting field.

Becky had a quiet faith and liked to watch services at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Davenport. She found joy in cross-stitch, puzzles, and crafts, but her greatest happiness came from her family. She cherished family gatherings and loved keeping up with her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Becky is survived by two children and their spouses, Scott and Kelli Lancial of Coal Valley, and Laura and Todd Kilen of Marshfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Amber Paxston, Lainey (fiancé Brett Harrington) Lancial, and Caitlin Lancial; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Bentley; siblings, Jeff (Pat) Gripp, Steve Gripp, and Cindy (Dave) Lohrman; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Gripp; and a sister, Pat White.
