Randy D. Lambirth

Randy D. Lambirth, 71, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Burial will take place at Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, Nebraska, at a later date.

Randy Dean Lambirth was born January 8, 1955, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Mary (Rutter) Lambirth. He served first in the U.S. Navy and then in the U.S. Army for a total of three years.

He spent 28 years with the love of his life, Vicki Johnson, who passed away on November 4, 2024. He enjoyed golfing and playing the guitar.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Brant) Waldron; his step-son, Steven Garland; grandchildren, Azlyn, Asa, and Alexis; step-grandchildren, Alexis and Steven; great-grandchildren, Carter, Braxton, and Grayson; and siblings, Dennis Lambirth and Peggy Lambirth. He was preceded in death by his parents; his significant other, Vicki Johnson; his daughter, Angela Lambirth McCoy; and siblings, Sally Lockner, Janadene Freihage, Karen Lambirth, William Lambirth, and Robert Lambirth.
