Randall S. Jespersen

Randall S. Jespersen, 65, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Muscatine, Iowa, died Monday, December 23, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Bettendorf. 

A gathering to celebrate Randy’s life will be announced at a later date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Randall Stanley Jespersen was born August 10, 1959, in Albia, Iowa, the son of Edwin and Virginia (Stewart) Jespersen. He married Peggy Matthies on December 13, 1980. She died January 2, 2011.

He worked at Monsanto for many years. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and the Iowa Hawkeyes, golfing, grilling, and building model cars. He loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and his dogs. 

Randy is survived by his two children, Eric Jespersen and Maranda Schroeder, both of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Megan, Jack, and Elijah; his significant other, Deborah Robinson of Davenport, and her family; siblings, Mike, Robert and Shannon; and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy; and brother, Paul Jespersen.
