Phoong Si Che

Coal Valley, Illinois Phoong Si Che, 94, of Coal Valley, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. The family will hold a private prayer service prior to the visitation. She was born February 20, 1909, in China, where she married Son Hon Vu. He died in 1964. She came to the United States with her family in 1980. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lan and Lee Vu of Coal Valley, and three grandchildren, Ving Vu of Champaign, Illinois, Quyen Benley and her husband Justin of Phoenix, Arizona, and Le Que Heidkamp and her husband Jeff of Urbana, Illinois.
