Pedro Medrano

Pedro Medrano, 82, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Saturday, May 21, 2022.

The funeral mass is 12 Noon on Saturday 28th in Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 412 10th St, Moline, Illinois, with Fr. Antonio Ditmer celebrating. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline, at a later date. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday 27th the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.

Pedro was born May 13, 1940, in Durango, Mexico, son of Camilo Medrano and Aguistina Vargas. He married Guadalupe Alcantar on December 26, 1971, in Mexico. He retired as a foreman for Well Pruning Service in Santa Paula, California.

He loved his farm and spent most of his time working on it since his retirement, he raised cattle and loved live music, norteño and banda, he loved to spend time with his family and loved his grandkids very much.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Guadalupe; four children and spouses, Delia and Carlos Ramirez of Rock Island, Pedro Jr. and Delia Medrano of Santa Paula, Angel and Daisy Medrano, and Manuel and Crystal Medrano, all of Beardstown, Illinois; ten grandchildren; Antonio, Rafael, Pedro, Alcantar, Maddox, Erny, Josiah, Colt, Izan and Arianna; siblings, Esther, Camilo, Javier, Francisca, Hector, Jaime, Jose and Angel.
