Pauline Woolley, 87, of Moline, Illinois, formerly of Milton, Iowa, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, Illinois.
Graveside services are Saturday morning at Coal Valley Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Milton, Iowa, Library.
The former Pauline Peggy Hamburg was born November 27, 1924, in Davis County, Iowa, to John Fred and Teckla Minnie Fahlgren Hamburg. She married Wilbur O. Woolley on March 9, 1946, in Galesburg, Illinois. He died May 2, 2001. She had been employed as a grinder at International Harvester Farmall Works, Rock Island, Illinois, for nine years. She was a former member of the Milton Heritage Society, Milton Woman?s Club, Help Your Neighbor Club, and the Milton Library Board. She enjoyed library volunteering, gardening and canning.
Pauline is survived by two sisters, Pearl Pottorf of Galesburg, and Edna Beresford of Fairfield, Iowa, a brother, Jack Hamburg and his wife Helen of Cantril, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and brothers, Dale, Paul, and Glen Hamburg.
