Patrick C. Irons, 43, of Blue Grass, Iowa, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, surrounded by his loving family.

The family invites friends to join them in celebrating Pat’s life from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, at Walcott Commons, 1116 E. Bryant St., Walcott, Iowa. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Pat’s memory.

Patrick Corey Irons was born May 12, 1983, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Thomas and Joy (Salsberry) Irons. He graduated from Davenport West High School in 2001 and married his high-school sweetheart and the love of his life, Carrie Estlund, on October 18, 2008, in Davenport. Together, they shared more than 18 years of a happy marriage and welcomed the two greatest joys of Pat’s life, their daughters, Emery and Bailey.

Pat spent more than 20 years working as a truck driver for QC Transport, a job he absolutely loved. One of his favorite parts was having the opportunity to work alongside his brother-in-law, Adam Baker.

Outside of work, Pat treasured time spent with his family, whether camping, boating, fishing, or simply getting in the car and taking a drive together. He will also be remembered for his famous tortillas.

Above all, Pat’s greatest pride and joy was being “Dad” to Emery and Bailey. He embraced being a softball dad, spending countless hours coaching, cheering on, and supporting his girls in everything they did. His love for them was boundless, and being there for his daughters was the role he cherished most.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife, Carrie Irons; his daughters, Emery and Bailey Irons; his parents, Joy and Thomas Irons of Blue Grass; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Levi Deierling of Buffalo, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Erik and Kayla Irons of Tipton, Iowa; nephews and niece, Sawyer and Natalie Deierling, and Hayes Irons; his father-in-law, Jeff Estlund; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joy (Ray) Wright, Kyle (Jessica) Estlund, Brooke (Jason) Cale, Erik (Layla) Estlund; and Janelle Baker; along with countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother-in-law, Deborah Estlund; and his dog, Tally.
