Norma L. Edmunds

Norma L. Edmunds, 72, of Colona, Illinois, passed Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rock Island Eagles Club F.O.E., 5103 11th Street, Rock Island, Illinois. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to local animal shelters.

Norma Lee Link was born on July 17, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Alvin and Maryann (Welchman) Link. She graduated from Iowa School for the Deaf, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She married Bryan Edmunds on July 14, 1979, in Colona, Illinois, and together they had three children prior to separating.

She loved watching tv especially anytime the Chicago Cubs or Chicago Bears were playing. She enjoyed doing word searches, collecting knick knacks, and spending time with her dogs.

Norma is survived by her children, Miles (Holly) Edmunds of Orion, Illinois, Jill (Gabe) Edmunds of Colona, Illinois, and Bryan (Amanda) Edmunds of Moline, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Diana (Rob) Goldberg. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maryann Link; father and step-mother, Alvin and Bethene Link; brother, Tim Erwin; and ex-husband, Bryan Edmunds.
