Nola K. Walker

Nola Kay Walker, 68, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Born on December 16, 1956, in Moline, Illinois, Nola spent her life in the Quad Cities area, surrounded by family and the simple joys she loved most. She was the devoted mother of four children: Matthew Walker (partner Thomas White), Monica Ehlers (husband Eric Ehlers), Austin Hoggard, and Andrew Hoggard. She was also a proud grandmother to Hannah Walker and Madison Walker.

Nola found happiness in gardening and creating potted flower arrangements. She enjoyed watching crime shows, chatting daily with her sisters, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and savoring her favorite Diet Pepsi. Her greatest role in life was being a mom—a role she embraced fully and fiercely.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

A private memorial service will be held by the family. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements.
