Nancy M. Gould

Nancy M. Gould, 71, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Dover, New Hampshire, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at Bettendorf Health Care Center.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County.

The former Nancy Marie Elliott was born January 30, 1955, in New Hampshire, the daughter of Ernest and Parmelia (Guilbault) Elliott. She married Robert Gould and the couple shared many happy years together in New Hampshire prior to his passing in 1994. A few years later, Nancy relocated to Gordon, Nebraska, before moving to the Quad Cities in 2002. She later found happiness with her longtime partner, Robert Smith.

She enjoyed Native American culture, jewelry, and could be described as a shopaholic. In her younger years, Nancy was an LPN.

Nancy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Michael Johnston of Rapid City, South Dakota; six grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, and Alyce Eisenbraun, and Joseph, Caylin, and Benjamin Johnston; and her beloved dog, Scooter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Gould; and her longtime partner, Bob Smith.
