Nancy C. Anderson, 91, of Milan, Illinois, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with The Reverend Jim Ruberg officiating. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan, or the American Heart Association.

The former Nancy Cleo Robb was born August 14, 1916, in Powersville, Missouri, the daughter of Andrew and Lucinda (Anderson) Robb. She graduated from Lucerne, Missouri, High School in 1934, came to Moline, Illinois, later, and attended the former Moline Community College. She married William R. Wiemers on March 16, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri. He died December 20, 1960. She married Roger H. Anderson on November 9, 1963, in East Moline, Illinois.

She was a monotype operator at Desaulniers Printing Company, Moline, for several years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan, Women of the Moose, AARP, and TOPS. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling and playing cards and Bingo. She enjoyed her family and friends, and found time for all her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Roger; two children and their spouses, Larry and Mary Wiemers of East Moline, and Irene and William Pendergast of Cordova, Illinois; six grandchildren, Jeff and Bill Wiemers, Kris Derr, and Alan, Ken, and Kathy Page; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, George Robb of Rock Island; and a sister, Alice Lynch of East Moline. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
