Miguel Munoz Gonzales

Miguel Munoz Gonzales, 73, of East Moline, Illinois, died Monday, February 27, 2023, at Genesis Hospital, in Silvis, Illinois.

Services are at noon Friday, March 3, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 412 10th Street, Moline, Illinois. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Thursday, March 2, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.

Miguel Munoz Gonzales was born July 20, 1949, the son of Eliseo and Maria (Luz Gonzales) Munoz. He married Josefina Martinez.

He loved spending his time gardening, riding bikes, or listening to music. Above all else, family was the most important thing to him, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Miguel is survived by his wife, Josefina Martinez; children, Rigo (Teresa) Berto, Norma (Armando) Munoz, Miguel (Juana) Munoz Jr., Emma (Mario) Munoz, Jose (Yvette) Munoz, Yanet (Pedro) Munoz, Maribel (Luis) Munoz, Marisol (Isidro) Munoz, and Viviana (Angel) Munoz; grandchildren, Armando, Jackeline, Karime, Miguel Jr., Lupe, Dayana, Samanta, Milagros, Melany, Emily, Julissa, Mario, Guero, Diego, Vanessa, Jimena, Johanna, Vianney, Juan, Josselyn, Rodrigo, Antony, Julio, Kimberly, Britanny, Jade Maylin, Angel Damian, Angela, Angel Abraham, Jesse, and Brandes; great-grandchild, Emiliano; and siblings, Carmen Munoz, Salomon (Ma Jesus) Munoz, Eliseo (Alicia) Munoz, Salvador (Soledad) Munoz, Javier (Ma Jesus) Munoz, Ruben (Carmen) Munoz, and Gloria (Manuel) Munoz. He was preceded in death by his parents.
