Michael D. Podrasky, 75, of Port Byron, Illinois, died Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Hope Creek, East Moline, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.

Michael David Podrasky was born October 28, 1949, in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of George and Mary (Altergott) Podrasky. He earned his bachelor’s degree in teaching from University of Illinois Chicago and went on to work as an Airport Manager of Air Canada at O’Hare Airport for over 15 years.

Mike had a love for travel and adventure, always eager to discover new places. A devoted Disney fan, he made several memorable trips to the parks over the years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had a lifelong passion for history, with a special interest in World War II. For a time, he also shared his knowledge as a substitute teacher. He had a passion for old western movies, specifically anything with John Wayne.

Michael is survived by his children, Mary, Ann, and Michael Podrasky; and his significant other of 12 years, Madeline Fuller. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Podrasky.
