Michael E. Nalepa, 31, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Michael’s life on Friday, September 18, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street Moline. Visitation is 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport.

Michael Edward Nalepa was born July 9, 1995, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Michael spent his time with his beloved girlfriend Rachael, his family and friends. He was a man of many talents and gifts. He loved to make delicious new recipes for others to try, spend time in nature with long hikes and new adventures. He loved to play music with his friends. He also loved being an Uncle.

He will be remembered for his brightness, creativity, honesty, unconditional love, patience, and curiosity.

Michael is survived by his girlfriend, Rachael Ganoe; his mother, Kathryn Workheiser; sisters, Alexandria Nalepa and Taylor Kyser; brother, Tyvan Workheiser; and grandparents, Terry and Pete Segura.
