Mary M. Fellows

Mary M. Fellows, 80, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026, at The Loft of East Peoria.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Rev. Tanner Payton Officiating. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Mary’s memory.

The former Mary Margaret Logas was born June 28, 1946, in Davenport, the daughter of Clarence and Florence “Marie” (Comer) Logas. She married the love of her life, Douglas Fellows on June 10, 1988, in Davenport.

Mary enjoyed her years working in food service at Palmer College, but her true calling was being a homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her family and anyone who walked through her door. For Mary, cooking was more than something she did—it was her love language. She showed people how much she cared by making sure they were well-fed, and there was always room for one more at her table. She especially loved making—and, of course, eating—sweets.

Mary also enjoyed crafting and traveling the country with Doug on their motorcycle, making memories and seeing new places along the way. She loved playing cards with family and friends, too, and seemed to have a special kind of luck when it came to drawing wild cards.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Anna Brown of Davenport, and Tracy (Terry) McQuillen of Washington, Illinois; grandchildren, Kate and Rachel Brown, Bree (Matt) Gutierrez, and Amanda (Corey) Blank; great-grandchildren, Graham and Emery Gutierrez, and Brady and Oliver Blank; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and siblings, Shirley “Candy” (Pete) Gomez and Donald (Rita) Logas.
