Mary Ann Beerbower, 76, of Moline, Illinois, passed Monday, July 13, 2026, at UnityPoint Health -Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Mary Ann Willey was born on October 19, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Colleen (Hawthorne) Willey. Throughout her career, she worked for several employers in the Quad Cities, including Boden Printing, Eagle Signal, Red Jacket Manufacturing, and EZAutomation. It was while working at Red Jacket Manufacturing that she met the love of her life, Gary Beerbower. The two married and shared 37 wonderful years together.

She developed a love of automobiles while growing up watching her father, an auto mechanic, work on cars. She was especially proud that one of the cars he built went on to win at the Brickyard. That passion stayed with her throughout her life, and she enjoyed watching both stock car and midget racing. She and Gary also loved traveling together, and she enjoyed spending time fishing whenever she had the chance. Although she only cooked occasionally, Gary always looked forward to her taco nights.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gary Beerbower of Moline, Illinois; son, Robert (Amy) Lieby of Virginia, Minnesota; grandson, Matthew Lieby; siblings, Nancy (Stephen) Talik of Coal Valley, Illinois, Julie (Wyatt) York of Sherrard, Illinois, and Mike Willey of Arizona; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her paretns, Robert and Colleen Wiley.
