Martin Lannen, 55, of East Moline, Illinois, died Monday, August 23, 2010, in his residence. A Celebration of Life gathering is 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Moose Lodge #190, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
Martin Ray Lannen was born April 12, 1955, in Rock Island, the son of James and Beverly (Woeckner) Lannen. He married Betty DuFour. He later married Debrah Buker.
He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Bears? fan, and loved animals, especially his dog, Zack, and cat, George.
Marty is survived by his wife, Debrah, a daughter, Tina Lannen of Davenport; step-children, Melissa Buker and Doug Buker of Davenport, and J.R. Buker of East Moline, six grandchildren, siblings, Denise and Frank Guthrie of Moline, Randy Lannen of Davenport, and Michael Thompson of Chicago, many nieces and nephews, and a step-father, Herbert Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
