Marjorie M. Callahan, 86, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, January 9, 2015, in Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Private burial will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery.
The former Marjorie Marie Wilson was born August 30, 1928, in Stewart, Iowa, the daughter of Edmond and Dorothy (McGhee) Wilson. She married George Callahan on November 10, 1946, in Rock Island, Illinois.
She worked as a bookkeeper for several places while she and her husband were living in Orange, California. She also worked for Baker Liquor in Rock Island.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, George; sisters-in-law, Shirley Birmingham, Genevieve Brown, and Nancy Callahan; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Ellie.
