To Marilyn, the glass was always half full, and she approached life with an eternal optimism that inspired everyone around her.

Marilyn held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with love and creating lasting memories.

Traveling was another adventure Marilyn and John embraced together. They explored the world, creating unforgettable memories, and on a couple of occasions, ventured to Russia and Slovenia to visit family.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband of over 71 years, John; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Resetich of Rock Island, Illinois, Mark and Anne Resetich of Hampton, Illinois, and Ross and Leanna Resetich of Muscatine, Iowa; four grandchildren, Kathryn (Blake) Reedy, Joseph Resetich, Cory Resetich, and Nick Resetich; and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elizabeth.
