Maria Morales

Maria Morales, 92, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Monday, March 11, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline.   Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12^th Street, Moline, with a Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the family. 

Maria was born August 27, 1931, in Mexico, the daughter of Rafael Villagomez and Maria Puente.  She married Carlos Morales and the couple had nine children.  He passed away May 21, 2011. 

She had a strong faith and enjoyed going to church. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by her children, Cristina Morales, Ramon Morales, Sylvia (Mojarro) Morales, Sandra Morales, Hector (Estela) Morales, and Maria Morales; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlos; three sons, Rafael Morales, Juan Carlos Morales, and Cuauhtemoc Morale; and grandsons, Genaro Sepeda and Isaac Morales.
