Marcie A. Wheeler

Marcene A. “Marcie” Wheeler, 68, of Davenport, Iowa, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. 

Visitation is 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12^th Street, Moline.  Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory prior to services.   Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Marcie’s memory.

The former Marcene Ailene Levi was born October 20, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Jesse L. and Hattie “Penny” (Divis) Levi.  She graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1974.  

She worked over 30 years at Bishop’s Buffet before going to work for 10 years and eventually retiring from Silvercrest Assisted Living in Davenport.

Family was the most important thing to Marcie, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.  She will always be remembered as a woman with a huge heart that constantly put others ahead of herself, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her!

Marcie is survived by her daughter, Katie (Nick Lage) Sibley of Davenport; four grandchildren, Gavin Hoker, Brooklyn Lage, Jaxon Lage, and Connor Lage; siblings, Greg (Jennifer) Levi of Davenport, Sharon (Jeff) Schieberl of Bettendorf, and Denise (Greg) Coffman of Davenport; and five nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jason Levi.
