Lorena L. Way

Lorena L "Lori" Way, 44, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 9, 2013, shortly after arrival at Trinity Moline, Moline, Illinois.

Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, with Pastor Tim Carr officiating. Memorials may be made to a memorial fund for her daughter, Cassidy.

Lori was born February 27, 1968, in Rock Island, Illinois to Melvin Dale and Sharon Wheeler Way. She was a wonderful cook, a kind and giving person, and an avid St, Louis Cardinal fan.

She is survived by the light of her life, her daughter Cassidy; her mother and step-father, Sharon and Del Turnbough of Owensville, Missouri; her father and step-mother, Dale and June Way of Aledo, Illinois; her brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Sally Way of Silvis, Illinois; half-brother, Ron Way of Moline; her aunt and ?other mother,? Linda Sheppard of Coal Valley; two nieces, cousins, and many friends, especially Jennifer Sandman and Todd Geyssens. She was preceded in death by her grandmas, Margie Way and Lorene Wheeler; her aunt, Op Wheeler; and uncles, Jerry Wheeler and John and Gary Way.
