Lon A. Dryoel

Lon A. Dryoel, 58, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Control.

Lon Allen Dryoel was born February 2, 1968, the son of Diane Sue Williams and Henry Raoul Dryoel. He married the love of his life, Brenda Folger, on July 12, 1997, in Arizona.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting guns. He was also very handy, always building things around the house and to help his wife.

Lon was always selfless and always there for everyone no matter what was going on. Whether they needed help with something or just to lend an ear. He was always doing special things for everyone including the grandchildren to be present in their lives. He was a protector and a guiding light for the family and took deep pride in his family.

Lon is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; his parents, Diane Williams of Moline, and Henry Dryoel of Milan; three children, Michael (Amy) Mealman of Milan, Rebecca (Cris) Alleruzzo of Coal Valley, and Jessica (Ryan) Hestand of Wyoming, Michigan; six grandchildren, Emersyn Mealman, Hannah Jacks, Kaleb Jacks, Nico Alleruzzo, Giovanni Alleruzzo, and Katelyn Nelson; three great-grandchildren, Enzo, Eliana, and Jovani; sisters, Kate Fisher and Hayley Dryoel, and their families; and cousins, Kris (Sam) Davis and Darin Williams.
