Linda L. May

Linda L. May, 60, of Geneseo, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at her residence surrounded by love.

A celebration of life will be held in April of 2027. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family for the grandchildren’s education fund.

Linda Lee May was born on February 11, 1966, in Franklin Park, Illinois, the daughter of Eugene Anthony Sr. and Elois Delores (Kitzmiller) May. She graduated from East Leyden High School.

She was a member of Kingswood Methodist Church in Geneseo. Linda enjoyed crocheting, getting dressed up, and watching TV series such as Law & Order and Ghost Adventures. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Linda is survived by her children, Nikia (Pat Tuthill) May of Geneseo, Illinois and Jeremy May of Alabama; grandchildren, Dominic Nimrick, Paysli Christ, Bailey Christ, Austyn May, Lillian May, Payten Martens, and Adam Martens; great-grandson, Noah Jackson; siblings, StarLa Robinson, Glenice May, LaDawn (Joseph) Ferris, Norman Maggio, and Kenneth (Rena) May; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and her beloved cats, Rainbow and Hot Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Sr. and Elois May; brothers, Eugene May Jr. and Jerrius May; and her cat, Kiki.
