LeeAnn Blackwell

LeeAnn Blackwell, 56, of Keokuk, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Aspire of Muscatine, in Muscatine, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

LeeAnn was born July 25, 1969, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Jim Blackwell and Mary (Stephenson) Simon.

A creative and kind-hearted soul, she found joy in listening to music, coloring, painting, and crafting anything that sparked her imagination. She had a deep love for animals and was the sweetest woman you’d ever get to know with a heart of pure gold. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her children, especially watching movies together.

LeeAnn is survived by her children, Heather (Ray) Price, Jacob Tripp, Jonathon (Tara) Tripp, and Anna Tripp; father, Jim (Marleen) Blackwell; siblings, Jim Blackwell Jr. and Carma Blackwell; step-father, Mike Simon; ex-husband, John Tripp; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Simon; and a baby lost by miscarriage.
